Last Saturday, several SoCal Blues members met up for the ChelseaFC match vs. Everton as the "Blue Wave" Chelsea Supporters group at the Olde Ship in Santa Ana- most of which are PCB's.  The game was full of full-flowing attacking football, and looked great attacking on net and SWP & Joe Cole running wild on each of the wings. Although Drogba had squandered a couple of sitters, he made good in the 70th minute with a great finish off of a well-placed corner by Soloman Kalou.

SuperFrank & Essien had strong games- but the 2 low points in the game was a 28th minute back injury to Ricardo Carvalho, who had to come off and is expected to miss a couple of weeks and the defensive lapse in the 88th minute that ultimately brought a draw with Everton's Tim Cahill's bicycle kick tieing goal with just a minute to go. 

The tie was not the result many of us SoCal Blues supporters were looking for and kind of dampened the "party atmosphere" the Blue Wave had created, but everybody who showed up were very impressed with the attacking roles that the players have taken in the past couple of months under Avram! 

The OC Hooligans meet at the Olde Ship each game and welcome all visiting or in the area Chelsea fans to stop by anytime. Looks as if we will hit up another SoCal Pub for our next SoCal meet against Arsenal-
